A Whole New Life...

First, we'd like to apologize for our vacation from blogging. We started it to help our family and friends stay informed of what was going on in our lives, but life has been a little hectic during these past few summer months and we just haven't had the time to keep it going. However, now that the summer is almost over...things have slowed down, which has given us the opportunity to start blogging again.

So much has happened in the last month and a half and we'd like to recap some of the most exciting events of the summer.....

NEW JOBS!

We both were hired as Special Education teachers at new schools this summer. Adam has switched schools from New Castle and will now be at Lapel Middle School.

I was hired within the Yorktown Community School Corporation. I will split my time between Pleasant View Elementary and Yorktown High School. I will be working with various types of students.

The Wedding!

It was a long year planning, but we finally did it...WE GOT MARRIED! By far the happiest day of our lives. It was an amazing day, but it was such a blur.

and finally....

The Honeymoon

After the wedding...we headed straight to St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. It was beautiful... and such an awesome honeymoon. We met great people, ate some awesome food, and just enjoyed each others' company.

We'd love to show you pictures from the honeymoon...but the camera fell out of our bag in a taxi and they have yet to locate it and probably never will :( .

School started for me on Monday, August 10th...and Adam starts on Thursday the 13th. It'll be great to see where this year takes us!
