Our Puppies!

Last summer, Adam and I decided to take on the challenge of raising two puppies. And what a challenge it was!

The first puppy we bought, Rolen, was an easy dog to raise. Although in the first week that I moved down to school he ate my cell phone charger, chewed up the kitchen chair, and chewed on my shoes, he was so easy to train. Within the next couple of weeks Rolen became a great dog. He was learning to potty outside and was only chewing on toys.

And then we got Reggie.

Reggie is part Chow so he is a little stubborn. Potty training him was nearly impossible. He chewed a hole in Adam's apartment wall, dug a hole in the bathroom floor, and ate my entire usb cord for my camera. It took them a while, but the puppies finally started figuring out what is right and wrong....for the most part.
Did I mention we absolutely love these dogs? Although they were challenging, they have brought us many happy times. They truly do show unconditional love. They are always excited to see us after work every day. They are always there to cheer us up when we're upset. And they always keep us company.
We can not wait until we get to move into our new house where Reggie and Rolen can have a fenced in back yard where they can run and not have to be on leashes. That time can not come soon enough.
Here are a few pics of our dogs...all grown up!

Oh yes, and she forgot to mention that they run away occasionally. . .lol! By the way Ada, how was the jog around the new neighborhood as Rolen took the scenic route when he escaped?

It was a little embarrassing for Adam... he's not a fan of houses without fences :)
