Weekend Events

This past weekend Yorktown High School hosted the IHSAA Semi-state volleyball games for class 4A. I was fortunate enough to be asked to work the games, allowing myself to make some extra money and also see some good volleyball. This game was between Center Grove and Muncie Central. It was a close game, but Muncie Central dominated and went on to win the state championship.

The morning session drew in a big crowd.

Later that evening, Adam and I went to the state championship game that was held at Worthen Arena on the campus of Ball State. Yorktown made it to the championship game, but was upset by Brebuf Jesuit. It was a good game. They played hard and left it all out on the court.

It's too bad that Yorktown didn't pull through, but there is always next year!
