The month of October officially started basketball season. Now that the games have started, let the fun begin! Adam and I are both coaching at our respective schools. I am a varsity assistant and the head 6th grade girls coach. My 6th grade season won't start until December, so I keep myself busy helping with the varsity team. Adam is coaching 7th grade boys at Lapel Middle School. He has a great team and really shows that he cares a lot about his players.
Tonight I went and watched Adam coach against Mt. Vernon (Fortville). Mt. Vernon had a lot of size and athleticism, but Lapel gave them a good fight. Mt. Vernon pulled away in the 2nd half and ended up winning the game. It was fun to watch Adam coach. No matter how many points they were down, he still kept coaching!

OH how we love this sport :)

you two are go-getters. nothing like getting married, starting a new job, then coaching a new team. looks like definitely a rewarding challenge.
Hey Chels! I didn't know you had a blog...discovered it from Kamaron & Anique's! You've got another faithful reader now. Can't believe you are on crutches AGAIN!!! But I know you'll never give it up... :)
Hey Terry! I hope all is well. I think I've been on crutches half of my athletic career, haha. Glad to see we have a new follower! I must admit, I follow yours quite often too!
