Summer is finally here!

This weekend was the official beginning of the Miller/Kilian summer! A few months ago my parents decided that they wanted to buy a spot where we can all go as a family for a weekend get-away. So...my parents decided on a lake cottage.

When my Mom said it was going to be a "fixer upper"...we had no idea what was to come.

We ripped up flooring, wall trim, carpet. We painted. We hammered. We sawed. Needless to say...it was a family project and we worked hard!

We are really proud of our family project!

I was skeptical in the beginning, but our cottage is cute now!
